Guangdong Grand Canyon
Guangdong Grand Canyon is also called Ruyuan Grand Canyon which is located in Dabu Town, 68 kilometers southwest of Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County in north of Guangdong Province's Shaoguan City. The canyon is 15 kilometers long and has a valley depth of more than 300 meters. It was voted as "the most beautiful canyon in Guangdong" in 2015.
If you like to hike, or want to appreciate the huge cracks in the earth, this place will be your favorite place. The general itinerary starts from Taniguchi Square, and the ticket office is located on the square. There are also small shops selling drinks and food on the square. I suggest that you bring your own dry food and water, because there is no supply to the bottom of the valley, only to a small power station.
There are detailed navigation maps in the scenic spot. You can choose the route you want to take. There are many practical routes. The recommended walking method is “Taniguchi Square - Ecological Viewing Trail - First Line Entrance - First Line Tianjing District - Shuijuuzhai Scenic Area - Windmill Gate - Valley Tourist Service Point - Tongtian Ladder - South Gate Tourist Service Area - Kilometer Veranda - Taniguchi Square" As above, the entire walk down about 3 and a half hours, this line can see the most comprehensive view, and It is more energy-saving in the hiking line.
People with poor physical strength or those with old people can consider leisure routes, such as “Taniguchi Square – Ecological Viewing Trail – First Line Entrance, about 2km away, about 60 minutes to finish.
The natural environment of the canyon is really beautiful. There are also azaleas and pine trees. There are plants that cover the sky and unknown wildflowers scattered around them. Along the way you can see the small waterfalls and many small water pools. The water is very clear, so it is such a quiet and pristine valley. Take a stroll here, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the view, everything looks great.
In addition to the natural scenery, the most interesting spots in the scenic spots are Tongtian Ladder. From the side of the cliff side down the steps, more than 1300 steps on the cliff of more than 300 meters, equivalent to climbing down from 86 floors, very interesting.

Performances can be seen at the bottom of the valley, on ecological trails, on the hillsides, etc. There will be music before the performance, you can pay attention. The acrobatics at high altitude are very exciting, and it is quite worth seeing.
