Airport bus: Passengers could take airport buses travelling between the airport and city center :
From airport to Shangqingsi: from the first flight’s arrival to the last flight’s arrival
From Shangqingsi to airport: depart every half hour from 6:00 to 20:00.
Taxi : It takes about 40 minutes from Chongqing Jiangbei Airport to city center by taxi. Normally the taxi fare varies around 50 Yuan.
Metro : Metro Line 3 leaves from the airport to city area every 8-15 minutes from 6:30 to 22:30. (Please note that the Metro is signposted as ‘Light Rail’ in the airport).
By Train
There are 2 railway stations in Chongqing, respectively Chongqing Railway Station and Chongqing North Railway Station.
Chongqing Railway Station
Chongqing Railway Station is currently under construction, and is expected to be reused in 2014. From Chongqing North Railway Station, you could take a bullet train to Chengdu in 2 hours.

Chongqing North Railway Station
Chongqing North Railway Station is mainly for bullet trains. It takes about only 2 hours to get to Chengdu
Chongqing to Chengdu: 20 trains depart to Chengdu every day, takes 2-2.5 hours
Chongqing to Shanghai: takes about 28 hours
Chongqing to Beijing: takes 23-31 hours
Chongqing to Xi’an: takes 9 - 11 hours

By Long-distance Bus
Chongqing Bus Station
You could take buses to Chengdu and Dazu Rock Carvings from Chongqing Bus Station.
To Chengdu: The bus leaves every hour from 8:00-18:50 and takes about 4-5 hours. Ticket price is about 120 Yuan.
To Dazu: The bus leaves every hour from 7:00-19:00 and takes about 2.5 hours. Ticket price is about 50 Yuan.
