Xiahe Airport
Located near the Kusaitang Village of Xiahe County, Gannan Prefecture, Gansu, respectively 72 km and 56 km away from Xiahe County and Hezuo City, Xiahe Airport is one of the key projects of civil airport planning in China, of the Northwest China of civil aviation, and of Gansu civil aviation development planning. The total investment the project is about 710,000,000 Yuan and the total area about 2600 acres. The grade indicator of flight zone is 4C and the runway is 3200 meters long.
The terminal area is to meet the design goals for passenger throughput of 140,000 and cargo throughput of 560 tons in 2020. The terminal building covers 3185 square meters and there are 3 landing sites. Xiahe Airport can meet the needs of a Boeing 737 and Airbus A319 taking off and landing. The service covers Gannan, Linxia and other regions. It is the first civil airport in a minority area of Gansu province.
