Jinkeng Dazhai Village

Jinkeng Dazhai Village is famous for Jinkeng Terraced Fields which is located in the Longji Terraced Scenic Area, 120km away from Guilin City. Dazahi village is  the Hongyao (Red Yao Ethnic Minority ) ethnic nationality, so it is also called Dazhai Hongyao terraced rice field. Compared with the Longjing’s Pingan terraces and Longji Zhuang Village, the Jinkeng Terraced Fields are more original where the terraced landscape is more spacious and magnificent. It has excellent sunrise and sunset views.

What to see?

Jinkeng Terraced Fields are located in the depths of the Longji Terraced Scenic Area . The terraced fields surround the mountain like a natural big concave. Compared to the other two viewing areas, the terrain here is steeper and the terraces are more complex. Here you can climb a higher viewing platform to see the panorama. Due to the late development of this viewing area, the commercial atmosphere here is relatively less, and the village still maintains a more pure atmosphere.

Dazhai Yao Village belongs to Jinkeng Hongyao terraced fields. Through the cultivation of the Hongyao people living in generations, it has formed such a spectacular terraced landscape. The customs, folk culture, residential buildings and terraced landscapes of the Red Yao people are integrated. A natural landscape with ethnic characteristics.

There are three excellent viewing points in Jinkeng Terraced Fields :

No. 1 viewing point “Xishan Shaoyue” is the highest elevation and the most open view point of view. It is suitable for shooting at sunrise and sunset;

No. 2 viewing point “Thousand-tiered ladder” The road is better, it is suitable for watching the sunrise, but also the Yao people's stockade;

No. 3 viewing point "Golden Buddha Top" is the best place to shoot the sunset. Now the cable car leading to the Golden Buddha top at the entrance of Dazhai Scenic Area is opened. It is convenient.
