Yellow River Scenic Area, about 30km away from Zhengzhou Downtown, is bordered Yellow River in the north and Mountain Dai and Mountain Guangwushan in the south. It is a national AAAA tourism zone, and a natural scenic zone, integrating sightseeing, leisure, holidays, popular science education, hike exploration, sacrificing the ancestors and carrying forward the Chinese civilization.

Yellow River Scenic Area is 5.5 km long from north to south and 5 km wide from east to west with trees, pavilions, hills and two other statues around it. The Yellow River Scenic Area is composed of five major scenic zones and more than 40 tourist attractions, such as Five Dragon Peak, Yueshan Temple, Xinghai Lake, the statues of emperors of Yandi and Huangdi.

In the middle of the mountain, there is a statue with 5 meters in length and 12.5 tons in weight. It was sculpted into a gentle mother embracing a sleepy baby which symbolizes the feeding of mother Yellow River.
