Baijiayan Scenic Spot, located in Yuntai Mountain, is the birthplace of Chinese landscape garden culture from the court to the folk, and Baijiayan is 170 meters high. Because of the ancient cypress green between the mountains, it was called "Baijiayan". The rock is wide and flat, and it can accommodate hundreds of houses, also known as "Baiyan."
Baijiayan has been a tourist attraction since ancient times. After the reign of Emperor Liu Xie, the last emperor of the Han Dynasty, he was often seen here to enjoy the water and explore the scenery. During the Wei and Jin Dynasties, the "Seven Scholars of Bamboo Forest", Ji Kangzhao, Liu Wei,
Xiang Xiu, Yan
Xian, Shan Tao, and Wang Hao lived here for 20 years.
Baijiayan monument stone carvings can be seen everywhere. There are Tianmen Mountain on the north side of the
Baijiayan, Tianmen Valley on the north, and Tianmenguan on the north. It is said that the Mu Guiying of the
Song Dynasty broke the Tianmen array here.
