Wanxianshan Scenic Area is a national AAAA level tourist zone which consists of three scenic spots: Guoliang Village, Nanping and Luojiezhai. It is located in the hinterland of Taihang Mountain in the northwest of Huixian City, Henan Province, 150 kilometers away from Zhengzhou City and 70 kilometers away from Xinxiang City. Wanxianshan Scenic Area has a total area is 64 square kilometers,where the altitude is as high as 1672 meters. Here, the forest coverage rate is over 95% , the air is fresh and the environment is beautiful. The average summer temperature is about 5 degrees lower than the area outside of the the mountainous. So it is a paradise and an ideal summer resort.
Guoliang Village
Guoliang Village has a proud history and an aspiring spirit supporting the local villagers’ life under poor and limited conditions, but this barren soil has spectacular and fascinating scenery, and cultivates people’s magnificent feat of building a road out of mountains, which wins great praises and glories. There are several splendid attractions deserving your tour: Hanquan(Shouting Spring), Observation Deck, Heaven Ladder, the Guoliang Tunnel Road, and Heaven Pool. Nanping village
Nanping Village is a treasure house of Wanxianshan Scenic Area. Here, you can walk along deep path to have the fresh air, and you can also enjoy the waterfall cascade down, it is really pleasing to your eyes. It is recommended to take a local car to the Dangou Vllaey in the Nanping Visitor Service Center. From the Dangou to the bottom, you are not tired. The exit is the Nanping bus stop station and you can go directly to the Shayao parking lot.
Luojiezhai Village
Luojiezhai Village is located in the northern section of the Wanxianshan Scenic Area, above the red rock cliffs of Taihang Mountain. Connected with Guoliang Village, Luojiezhai Village is famous for the seven peaks which stand together looking like a flat character of Chinese “山“ (mountain). The highest peak, called the Ant Peak, is 1657 meters above sea level, which is also the highest peak of Wanxianshan Scenic Area. But it is not opened to tourists nowadays.
