Disun Miao Village
Disun Miao Village is located in the Sancha Township of Jingzhou County, about 40 kilometers away from the county seat, is one of the shooting places of the Hunan TV show "Where is Dad?" Every visitor to this place will be attracted by the ethnic architecture and the beautiful natural environment in Miao Village.
What to see?
Disun Miao Village is not big, and the roads to the village are not complicated. You can walk around everywhere of the Disun Miao Village with ease.
Stilted Buildings
When strolling around the village, you can see the local Miao-style slings-Stilted Buildings. These slings are built on the hillside due to the mountain. The relatively flat center surrounded by many slings is the public activity place in the stockade and the pond. This kind of residential arrangement reflects the principle of the location of the Miao people's dwellings: "There are mountains and mountains, posts and posts, rivers and rivers, and ponds around the pond." Miao's Life Style
At present, there are more than 700 Miao people living in the village, and their ancestors lived here during the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1398). Many cultural relics and historic sites have been preserved in the village, such as the ancient wells,ancient stone roads, ancient oil press workshops, ancient school ruins, and ancient buildings such as the entrance gate of the Village, wind & rain bridge, waterwheels are still being restored. You can also board the drum tower in the village and overlook the entire cottage (no extra charge).

At two o'clock every afternoon, you can also enjoy the performance of the "Miao Nationality Songs" show with a strong Miao style, the performance time is about 30 minutes (no additional charge).
