With 800-1000 meters above sea level, Niujiaoshan Tea Garden is located in Morong Township, West Hunan's Guzhang County which is in the middle section between downtown Zhangjiajie and Fenghuang Ancient Town. And it is 12 km away from downtown Guzhang County, as well as 35 km away from Jishou City. Founded in 2008, Niujiaoshan Tea Garden boasts a total area of 6 square kilometers growing tea plants in Niujiao Mountainous of Guzhang County.

Travel Activities 
1. Pick tea leaves at the tea garden

Entering the tea garden, visitors can have a farm tour. Following local Miao ethnic villagers,you will have an experience to pick tea leaves at the green tea garden.

Panning tea is physically hard work. The tea mster must touch the leaves with his hands determine how much water is being removed.The length of time depends on when the leaves area picked,the weather and the drying time.
