By Air: There are 5 airports in Jiangxi, namely Changbei International Airport in Nanchang, Lushan Airport in Jiujiang, Jinggangshan Airport in Ji'an, Luojia Airport in Jingdezhen, Huangjin Airport in Ganzhou. Their scheduled services are operated to Hong Kong, Taibei, Seoul (charter flight), Macau and Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Shantou, Harbin and Ningbo etc. In 2009, Changbei International Airport handled 4 million passengers.

Jiangxi's civil air transport has formed an air transport network with Nanchang as its core. Ganzhou, Jiujiang, Jinggangshan, Jingdezhen, Yichun and other cities connect the country and the world. Nanchang Changbei International Airport is an aviation hub for China and international passenger and freight transportation. There are also civil aviation airports in Ganzhou, Jinggangshan, Jingdezhen, Yichun and Jiujiang.In 2018, Changbei International Airport opened a visa service for foreigners on the shore of the country, with a passenger throughput of 13.52 million passengers, an increase of 23.7%.

By Railway: Railway-mileage in the province reached 2,549 km. Jingjiu line (Beijing-Kowloon), Hukun line ( Shanghai-Kunming ), Yingxia line ( Yingtan-Xiamen ), Wangan line ( Hefei-Nanchang ), Wujiu line ( Wuhan-Jiujiang ), Ganlong line (Ganzhou-Longyan) link neighboring provinces. Intercity express trains, such as Nanchang to Shanghai, Nanchang to Hangzhou, and Nanchang to Changsha are open. Changjiu (Nanchang-Jiujiang) intercity railway, Xiangpu (Xiangtang-Putian) railway, Ganshao (Ganzhou-Shaoguan) railway, Hengchaji (Hengyang-Chaling-Ji'an) railway are under construction.

By Bus: Highway Jiangxi's highway-mileage reached 133,800 km, evolving a road network which takes Nanchang as a hub, provincial road as main framework, and interlinks provinces, cities, counties and towns. Expressway mileage reached 2433 km. Expressways have met neighboring provinces, 11 municipalities, 60 counties (cities, district) and the provincial major scenic areas. In 2009, expressways of Shangrao to Wuyi Mountain, Dexing to Nanchang, Yongxiu to Wuning, Nanchang to Fengxin, Reijin to Xunwu, and Jiujiang Yangtze River Bridge started to construct. The expressway mileage will reach 4,000 km by 2012. By then, a modern expressway network, taking "three longitudinal four transverse expressways" as main framework, passing through from north  to south, forming connecting link between east and west, covering the whole province, meeting neighboring provinces, will emerge from Jiangxi.

By Waterway: Ports Jiangxi borders along the Yangtze River, the golden waterway. Jiujiang port is one of the national important ports, and one the first batch of the cross-Straits direct transportation ports. Ganjiang River and Poyang Lake are the main waterway with waterway-mileage 5,716 km. Its 42 ports have annual traffic over 10000 tons, 19 more than one million tons, Jiujiang Port more than 28.52 million tons.
