Xiushanmen Museum is a special museum that displays the regional culture of Chizhou. It mainly displays wood carvings, stone carvings, brick carvings and other cultural relics. It also houses celebrity paintings, ceramics, bronzes, jade and other artifacts.
The collection of the museum is rich and the quality is superb. It mainly displays the ancient architectural art and sculpture art, and reflects people's living environment, aesthetic taste and ethical education from one aspect. There are more than 4,000 pieces of cultural relics in the collection, including 11 pieces of second-level cultural relics.
The basic display design is: the first floor is Shicheng ancient rhyme, mainly for stone carving art exhibition; the second floor is Qiupu legacy, which is a wooden component exhibition hall; the third floor is Chiyang Shengjing. It is the ancient famous residence exhibition hall; the fourth floor is Jixian Hall, which is the Chizhou Regional Culture Exhibition Hall; the fifth floor Wenxuan Building is the Zhaoming Cultural Exhibition Hall. There is also a boutique room in the museum, which mainly houses celebrity calligraphy and painting, ceramics, bronzes, jade and other utensils.
