Ciping Scenic Sport
Ciping Town is located in the central of Jinggangshan Scenic Area, Ji'an City of Jiangxi Province. As the capital of Jinggangshan City, There are lots of hotels, restaurants in the town. Ciping Railway Station, bus staion are all located here, so it is the gateway of your Jinggangshan Tour.
What to see in Ciping ?
Ciping town was once the base of the Chinese Red-Army led by Mao Zedong and Zhu De during 1927-1930. There are many red-tourism sites in this town.
Dianshang Village
Located in Ciping Town, there are lots former sites of Chinese Red-Army, such as the Former Residence of Mao Zedong, Zhu De, Chen YI, Peng Dehuai, and the Former Head Office of the Fourth Branch Red-Army,The Mao's Former Residence was the house where Mao Zedong once lived with He Zizhen,the secon wife of Chairman Mao. After Chairman Mao led his troops to move from Hunan Province to Jinggangshan Mountain in 1927, he lived in this village fo Ciping Town. And he once held some important meetings at this house.
Dajing Village
Dajing Village is about 7km away from the northwest of Ciping Town.This was the first site after Mao Zedong led his army to reach Jinggangshan Mountain in 1927.
Jinggngshan Martyers Park
Jinggngshan Martyers Park,Beishan Martyers Park or North Hill Park, was founded in Oct,1987.Covering a total area of 240,000 square miters, this park consists of four parts such as the Memorial hall,Tablet Forest, memorial Tablets and statues.
Nanshan Park
Nearby the Yicui Lake, the Nanshan Park or South Hill Park,also known as"Red Army Park",is located in south of Ciping Town. Built in 1968 after Chairman Mao came back to Jianggangshan in 1965, Nanshan Park boasts a total area of 15 square miles. In the park, the tallest peak is 865 meter above sea level. After walking the path with about 2km length, and standing there, one can get sight of the Bijia Mountain, Five-Finger Peak, and Huangyangjie Scenic Spot.
