Evil Dragon Cave, also known as 孽龙洞 ( niè lóng dòng ) in Chinese ,  is located at the foot of  Yangqi Mountain, 15 kilometers north of Pingxiang City .

According to legend,  in Poyang Lake in ancient times, there was an evil dragon who  wanted to turn Jiangxi into the water area. It made some waves in everywhere and kill people. At last, the evil dragon was subdued by Xu Zhenjun in this cave inside Yangqi Mountain, Hence the name of the Evil Dragon Cave.

In fact, the Evil Dragon Cave is a natural cave formed 180 million years ago. This grand cave is 4.2 kilometers long, There are some halls connected inside the cave. The largest hall is 30 meters high and can accommodate thousands of people.  The 18-meter-high waterfall is the highlight of the cave.
