Songpan Ancient Town, located in the Songpan County of Sichuan Province,is an ancient pearl embedded in the Jiuhuan Tourism Belt. It is a military and borderline and Han and Tang culture. The ancient city of Songzhou was built in the Tang Dynasty. The existing Songzhou ancient city was preserved in the Ming Dynasty. In 1991, the ancient city wall of Songzhou was listed as a key cultural relics protection unit in Sichuan Province by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government. In 2001, the ancient city wall of Songzhou was listed as a national key cultural relics protection unit by the State Council. At present, it is actively applying for national historical and cultural cities.
The Songpan Ancient City Scenic Area consists of the Tourist Center, the Princess Wencheng Statue, the Han Tang Yuefu, the Ancient City Wall, and the
Qinhe Tower. At present, the development and construction of related projects on the ancient city wall have been completed.
