Yiwu International Trade City
Yiwu International Trade City, also known as Futian market, is an essential and the largest trade mart in Yiwu City,China's Zhejiang Province. It presently covers a place of four mil sq meters, together with 62,000 booths inside. 100,000 manufacturers display 400,000 types of goods nearly every day time from 9 am to 5 pm (apart from the vacations of Chinese Spring Festival). These products tend to be from all over 40 industrial sectors associated with 2,000 diverse types. 65% of such products are exported to over 215 places and areas. Futian market is similar to a long term fair rather than classic wholesale marketplace. It offers progressed into an information, creativity, exhibit and distribution center for consumer goods.

e First Phase of Yiwu International Trade Market was completed and opened to public since 2002. It is a very popular tourism site among tourists from all over the world and is entitled the first 4A standard national tourism shopping site by
China Tourism Bureau. The housing area of the market is up to 340,000 square meters.
The trade market consists of five main function zones – Market, Distribution Center of Producing Enterprises, Purchasing Center, Storage Center and Catering Center, with over 9000 shops and 10000 enterprises. Some local enterprises have already built up their own brands.
Varied handicrafts, ornaments, toys and flowers are the four main productions selling in the market, and exporting to over 140 overseas countries/areas. Besides, clothes, Hardware manufacturers, indoor decorations and cosmetic also play important roles in the market. All the commodities there can be divided into 28 categories.
Open to the public in 2005, the Yiwu International Trade City second phase occupies 483 Mu, over 600,000 square meters building area, above 8000 booths and the business entities exceed 10,000. Mainly selling fashionable goods, hard wares, some import or high-class business commodities in different floors.
