When to visit Wenzhou?
The city of Wenzhou means a mild and pleasant land. The city gets its name because of its mild climate without extremely cold winters or hot summers. It is an ideal place for vacation. Mountains, plains, islands, long rivers and broad seas coexist in the city.
Influenced by the subtropical monsoon climate, Wenzhou has four distinctive seasons yet temperatures remain mild throughout the year. On average, temperatures in January are around 5C-10C (41F-50F) while temperatures in July are usually between 27C and 30C (80F-86F). Although the region is pleasant all year long, as summer approaches, the city enters its rainy season. Tropical storms are most common between July and September. It is advisable to check weather forecasts before you plan your trip.


How to get to Wenzhou?
Wenzhou is easily accessible by plane, train and bus. Wenzhou Longwan International Airport hosts 40 airlines, operating many air routes to around 100 cities, including Hong Kong and Taipei. Wenzhou Railway Station and Wenzhou South Railway Station operate the trains to/ from Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou as well as other cities in Jiangsu, Jiangxi and Fujian provinces.
