Yangjiajie Cableway Co., Ltd. was established in 2009 and has 80 employees. The Yangjiajie Cableway is operated in the Yangjiajie Scenic Spot which is located in the northwest of Zhangjiajie City. The scenic spot is adjacent to Yuanjiajie in the east, Tianzi Mountain in the north and Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in the south. With a total area of 34 square kilometers. Yangjiajie Scenic Spot has more than 200 elite scenic sight-seeings. Especially , it is famous for the stone peak wall that is rarely in the world.

Yangjiajie Cableway Project has a total investment of CNY 170 million. The upper station is located at Liujiayan in Yuanjiajie Scenic Spot, and the lower station is located at Xiangzhixi, Yangjiajie Scenic Spot. The cable way is 1971 meters long and has a height difference of 517 meters. The whole line has 14 brackets. It adopts the international advanced single-line circulation detachable gripping device for eight-person passenger-carriage rope-way technology. It is fully equipped with a new generation of imported equipment from France POMA. The rope-way has a maximum running speed of 6 m/s and 53 compartments. The maximum weight per hour is 2,000 persons. It is one of the international advanced passenger rope-ways.
