Zhangjiajie Christian Gospel Church
Zhangjiajie Christian Gospel Church is the largest Christian church in the area of
Zhangjiajie City an Western Hunan. It is located on the beautiful Lishui River. At night, it will be beautiful with light.
Zhangjiajie Christian Gospel Church was founded in 1905 by the Finnish Lutheran Church. It has been standing on the banks of the Lishui River for more than 100 years. The Finnish Lutheran Church came to the Lishui River Basin in 1901 and is headquartered in Jishi City, north-western of Hunan. A dusty century-old memory door had been gradually opening up. This moment feels like the magic of Master Wang who discovered the
Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes.
Zhangjiajie Christian Gospel Church was rebuilt as Dayong Christian Gospel Church. In 1997, Zhangjiajie Christian believers raised funds to repair the Gospel Church and become the most cathedral in Hunan. Therefore, it was designated as the key temple church in the province by the provincial religious bureau.
