On the red sandstone stream bed, the stream rushes into Yumen Slot which is 2 meter long and non-inch wide. A lot of swimming fish leap against the water, often jumping ashore, Hence it's name.
The Fish Jumping Pool covers an area of 20 square meters, its water depth is about 2 meters. Sitting or standing on the stone to look down, you can see lots of fish swimming in the pool. When the peach blossoms flood in spring or summer, the swimming fish jumps up to 70 or 80 centimeters from the water, or floats or flies.
The water is clear and the brooks are rosy. Here, a cuboid with a height of 2 meters and a width of 2 meters each lies on the side of the pool. Two ancient trees grows at the stone edge, which one stands upright with a crown like a mushroom, and another one is curved with a crown like a large umbrella.
Fish Jumping Pool is a pool cause by the pulling stream. Stream flows from the higher place to the lower reach so that there is a pool made by the power of the water. During the spawning time, fish will swim to this pool and jump joyfully. It is a pool that is one of the two eyes (two pools) of the area, it’s a hole in the base rock that was formed from a constant flow of water. It then became a common breeding ground for fish, so the pool like its name often has fish jumping about.
