Commanding Generals Deck, also called 点将台 （Dianjiangtai ）in Chinese, is located 1500 meters west of Helong Park in Tianzi Mountain, and It is a famous observation platform in Tianzi Mountain, Wulingyuan Scenic Area,Zhangjiajie City.

 

Dianjiangtai is located in the deep valley of  the West Sea Scenic Spot,  Tianzi Mountain.  There are often clouds and mists here. Please look at,  the complex of stone peaks here are like dozens of human figures. One of them is centered like an emperor. In front of it, there is a stone peak like a herald reading the decrees. There are two stone peaks standing up on its left and right , which look like two ministers. And the rest of  stone peaks are like some offcials and generals standing there to listen and held their breaths. This place is called " Commanding Generals Deck" because it is said that  King Xiang once reviewed the troops and directed the battle here in ancient times.

Stage of Appointing Commander is 

rugged rocks juts out of a misty canyon, as if an emperor was counting soldiers. 

The place of  "Commanding Generals Deck"  is also of the best observation platform to get sight of the wonder of  clouds sea at Tianzi Mountain.  Visitors can get off at the shuttle bus station of " Dian Jiang Tai" from He Long Park or Yunjiajie, then go on walking along the path about 20 minutes to the observation platform.
