Baofeng Waterfall comes from a man-made hole at the higher mountain. With more than 40 meters to the left of the mountain front of Baofeng Bridge, the Baofeng Waterfall runs down. First of all, it descends in a straight stream, and then runs down the hillside in the pool hall at the iron cable bridge. There are two pools stacked on top of each other.  The tittle of  "宝峰湖 Bao Feng Hu"  is engraved on the cliff above the waterfall.

Baofeng Waterfall is a combination of natural and artificial. There was originally a curtain waterfall in this place, but the amount of water was small. After being artificially widened, it became loud, ups and downs, and magnificent. The iron cable bridge under the waterfall is surrounded by green trees and green bamboo, which was one of the backgrounds when shooting "Journey to the West" in 1998.

The place of Baofeng Waterfall is one of the best place for you to shoot. Sometimes, local Tujia and Miao girls and boys go there for singing, dancing, or being in love.
