Zhangjiajie Forest Park was listed on the Global 100 Must-visit Attract
The 2024 Ctrip Word-of-Mouth List annual list was officially announced recently, and
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park was listed on the Global 100 Must-visit Attractions List.
It is reported that in the just past 2024, the number of visitors to
Zhangjiajie National Forest Park throughout the year exceeded 7.5 million, among which the number of overseas tourists from 175 countries and regions exceeded 700,000. Both figures reached the highest records in history. The scale of tourism reception ranks among the top in mountain scenic spots across the country.
Fairyland Zhangjiajie, enchanting the world with its peaks. As the birthplace of Zhangjiajie's tourism and the first national forest park in
China, Zhangjiajie National Forest Park boasts "three thousand unique peaks and eight hundred beautiful water streams", and is known as "an enlarged bonsai and a minimized fairyland".
Over the past 40+ years, it has successively won international and domestic honors such as World Natural Heritage, Global Geopark, National 5A-level Tourist Scenic Area, National Civilized Scenic and Tourist Area, Naming Place of Zhangjiajie Landform, and
China Natural Oxygen Bar. It has become a popular tourist destination that tourists at home and abroad are eager to visit.
Ban Ki-moon, the former Secretary-General of the United Nations, paid a visit out of admiration and happily inscribed in Chinese: "The most spectacular scenery on earth, Zhangjiajie!"
