Zhangjiajie Central Coach Station is the main coach station in Zhangjiajie City, It is very near to Zhangjiajie Railway Station, at the right site of the exit of Railway Station. Surrounded by charming natural scenery, It is 2 kilometers from the city proper and 42 kilometers from Wulingyuan Scenic Area.And it has been serving well numerous tourists to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the Suoxi Valley Nature Reserve and the Tianzi Mountain Natural Reserve since 1986. Now it operates shuttle bus to many domestic cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Shenzhen, Xian,Changsha, and other cities in Hunan.

Transportation

City Bus: No. 5, 10,6, 8
Taxi: Taxi drivers here usually don't use the taximeter. CNY 30-50 is charged to Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport  or Central Bus Station, and it costs CNY120-150 to Wulingyuan Scenic Area.

1. Take bus no. 4 to Guanliping Roundabout and walk about 5 minutes to local Central Bus Station, where direct buses to the ancient town are available at 08:30 – 17:20 every an hour. It takes almost 4 hours and costs CNY65/person or a little more.
2. Still take bus no. 4 to Guanliping Roundabout and walk to the railway station. Take a train to Jishou first, for which over 10 trains are scheduled from 04:00 to 19:00. After getting there within 2h at a cost of CNY20, go to Jishou West Bus Station to take a regular bus to the town. Buses for the trip are scheduled densely between 07:00 and 19:00 every half an hour. The duration is an hour and the cost is CNY23-24/person.
